Job Description: The Intern Software Developer will play an important role in assisting with the development and implementation of software and technology solutions designed to improve efficiency, workflows, and processes at PICCO. In this role you will also assist the team by providing technical support and working collaboratively with the Lead Software Developer to streamline and automate our design and engineering processes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, implement, test (unit, integration and performance), and refine integrations for internal tools.
  • Write and deploy clean, reliable, and secure source code and apply solid CS principles in different languages and technologies (C#, .Net, Python, etc.)
  • Customize and configure in-house and 3rd party software, tools, and plugins to enhance productivity and streamline project workflows.
  • Participate in collaboration meetings with our team to understand technology objectives and to translate them into strategic solutions for the company.
  • Apply core CS and engineering principles to ensure quality, usability, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Help to improve existing and develop new standardized processes.
  • Create user documentation for applications.
  • Assist with other software development needs as assigned by the Lead Software Developer.
Job Requirements: KEY REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines with a top-notch academic record. Students in their 3rd or 4th year of studies with previous co-op experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of C# programming and Git for custom tool and application development.
  • Proficiency in coding, software customization, scripting, debugging, API's, etc.
  • Prior experience in building integrations with Autodesk API is preferred.
  • Enthusiastic on learning new things. Independent, self-motivated, and quick learner.
  • Enthusiastic on applying new technology to enhance product development.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to understand complex problem and provide technical solutions.
  • Communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable software solutions.
