Job Description: At The Travel Corporation our co-ops are an integral part of the team. At The Travel Corporation, we're on the hunt for a DevOps/Network Engineer co-op maestro to help us architect and fortify our digital playground.

YOUR ROLE INVOLVES
  • Assisting in the administration of network infrastructure, including setup, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Monitoring network performance and providing support in routine maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborating with senior network administrators to understand network operations, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
  • Documenting network configurations and changes, and reporting any issues to senior staff for further action.

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Good communication skills; effective in team collaboration and support.
  • Analytical Thinking: Aptitude for analytical thinking and attention to detail in network administration tasks.
NICE-TO-HAVES
  • Prior Co-Op/Internship Experience: Previous experience in an IT or network-related role is advantageous.
  • Certifications: Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+) are valued but not required.
  • Basic Scripting Knowledge: Understanding of scripting for network management tasks is a plus.
  • Cloud Services Exposure: Exposure to cloud services, especially Azure, is beneficial.
