The Power of Dreams is alive and well at Honda of Canada Mfg. (HCM). Located in Alliston, Ontario on 750 acres and employing more than 4,500 Associates, HCM is a 45-minute drive north of Toronto and 25 minutes south of Barrie. HCM began production in 1986 leading the way as the first Japanese automobile manufacturer to establish a production facility in Canada. Today, HCM is one of Honda's premier manufacturing facilities in the world producing the Honda Civic and CRV vehicles. That is why we are constantly on the lookout for bright, ambitious team players. HCM has an opportunity for two student for a 16-month work term beginning May 2024 through August 2025. Successful candidates will be working with many different departments at Honda in conjunction with the IT department to ensure we are all working towards the same goal. In addition, there will be opportunity to connect with peers from other Honda sites around North America to understand and foster work relationships that will assist in building technology and implementation standards for IT engineering. The IT Engineering Intern will focus on data analytics, business intelligence, and database administration. All of these elements play an important role in our push to develop SmartFactory and Industry 4.0 solutions.
