For more information, please visit us at https://www.cadence.com/en_US/home.html The High Speed Serdes (HSS) team at Cadence design high speed serial-link transceivers, including >=200Gbps PAM4 Serdes. This particular role will be focusing on system level simulation of the models that captures every aspects of our latest design, across multiple standards. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: · Running system simulations, sweeping parameters on 100+Gb/s and 200+Gb/s serial links to meet specifications and challenging requirement for customer applications. · Create testing setups and drive automation. |

| Job Requirements: |
Position Requirements: · 3rd year student from Electrical and Computer Engineering or Engineering Science, at the University of Toronto. · Energized by learning engineering concepts and methods. · Prior familiarity with fundamentals such as transmission line theory and/or high-speed data communication is a plus. · Driven to understand and root cause problems comprehensively. · Previous experience (work, internship, or course projects) documenting test methodology, results, and conclusion. · Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python or Perl. · Familiarity with MATLAB or equivalent mathematical analysis tools. · Location: TD Tower at 161 Bay address, in office one day per week. |
