Job Description:	Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) is developing advanced techniques and concepts to counter new generation radar threats. These techniques and concepts will be tested and evaluated using modelling / simulation and RF/Microwave software/hardware tools. This position is responsible for 1) first developing a data MATLAB code to convert hardware collected data to specific data formats that can be read by other software/hardware tools; 2) Develop a information tracking software to track measured radio signal frequency, angle of arrival and signal waveform with machine learning or deep learning features; 3) learning  radar scenario generation software to develop radar scenarios for RF signal generations: Learn existing MATLAB code for data analysis, Developing MATLAB code to generate data with specific data format, Learning a software tool for radar scenario generation, Generating different radar scenarios for RF/Microwave signal generations. This position will provide opportunities to learn knowledge in Machine learning, Deep learning, MATLAB coding, Radar modeling and simulation, RF/microwave measurements and signal generations, opportunity to write technical reports and papers.
Job Requirements:	3rd or 4th year in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics with Software development background, some hands-on experience of electronic hardware. MATLAB programming knowledge Some machine learning and deep learning knowledge Must be a Canadian Citizen A valid security screening is required. The student will be required to fill security forms provided by employer and obtain/maintain a valid security screening.
