Job Description:	January 2024 start. Only mineral engineering students are eligible to start in Winter 2024. What is an Agnico Eagle Internship? Moreover, your internship will take place within the incomparable wild northern environment which will certainly stimulate new apprenticeship.   Your Contribution: Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator, the intern will perform their duties as a member of the Engineering department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.   Main tasks will be to support the engineering staff on several technical projects or assignments (dewatering, pumping, construction, ground control, planning, etc.); Conduct underground surveying and ventilation surveying.
Job Requirements:	What You Need To Succeed: Enrolled or graduated in a bachelor’s degree in mining or geological engineering or related field; Mining experience is an asset; Ontario Common Core or Québec FMTM modules are an asset; Experience working in a multicultural environment is an asset; Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken; Must have strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills.    Your Work Schedule Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest; Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
