Job Description:	Welcome to Ferry! We’re a venture capital backed startup that gives software engineers & data scientists the superpower to deploy applications and ML models to real, physical devices securely & quickly (in minutes! 🚀). Our mission is to build the ultimate developer platform for the edge compute and edge AI. We’re backed by tier 1 VC funds, and the founders come from the likes of Revolut & Palantir. We are seeking a full-time software engineering intern to join our team and work directly with the founders to help build out our developer platform. The focus of this role will be on building out functionality for our backend services and API.
Job Requirements:	Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable code which is easily maintained and well-documented Work with the team to develop our backend services & core API Build out our integration stack with AWS, Azure & other developer solutions and frameworks Work on MLOps and ML/AI projects as required Identify and solve problems quickly and effectively   Requirements: Currently studying a BSc / MSc or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics or Machine Learning Demonstrable excellence in software engineering, with comfort in building production-ready systems Fast problem-solving, and clear communication A 'get-it-done' mentality, strong work ethic, and bias to action   Bonus: Experience with Python Experience AWS & Azure cloud platforms Experience with ML/AI is preferred, but not necessary   Benefits: Cool office in central London, UK Get to work directly on the core product (no side projects here! 🎯) Breakfast and lunch for office-based employees   Our process: 30 minute call with one of the founders Take-home task (to be done in your own time, we’re interested in how you write code) Review of the take-home task Final call with both founders (~1 hour)   If you’re keen to get your hands dirty, ship core product to real users, and are keen to dive deep into edge computing, this is the role for you!
