Job Description: Job Summary:
Perform test software and hardware application development and debug, project management and provide technical assistance to the engineering staff.

Job Responsibilities:
Understand customer test specifications and scope out test strategy and test development plan.
Develop test applications using Labwindows CVI, C, C++, Visual Basic
Design test applications with National Instruments and other hardware (PXI, GPIB, …)
Develop custom bench top and platform based (Rack and Stack) functional test for Electronic circuit boards.
Develop customized test and process software applications.
Inspect incoming project hardware for completeness and correctness.
Review customer project technical details and schedule project plan.
Provide technical assistance to team members.
Design interface circuitry, assemble on prototype boards and verify designs.
Inspect customer electronic products as per inspection procedures and maintain a log of material disposition.
Manage data archive and retention.
Job Requirements: Required Skills:
4th year Electrical or Electronics Engineering undergraduate program
Canadian Citizen, Permanent resident or Refugee Status
Proficiency in Microsoft windows, MS office, electronic mail.
Strong experience in Test Engineering, Electrical circuit analysis, design.
Experience in C, C++, Visual Basic, Unix, Labwindowns CVI, LabView.
Experience with National Instruments and other test and measurement instruments.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience in RF testing or RF knowledge preferred.
Concept mechanical design of rack and stack and custom test stations an asset
Flexibility, excellent communication skills.
Self disciplined with a passion for thorough, complete work.
