| Job Description: |
Job Summary: Development, debug and validation of software applications and graphical user interfaces for test automation and measurements systems. Project management and technical assistance to engineering staff. Job Responsibilities: Develop test applications using LabWindows CVI, C, C#, C++, TestStand Design software test applications interfacing with National Instruments and other hardware (PXI, GPIB) Develop customized test and process software applications. Review customer project technical details and schedule project plan. Provide technical assistance to team members. Manage data archive and retention. Provide on-site support and engineering for the deployed test solutions. Prepare and train clients to the use of their Arxtron solutions. Document exceptions and fixes for inclusion into core product. Perform QA on new product software releases. Perform Code reviews. Review and update processes. Participate in the architecture, design and validation of software developed for significant projects using advanced technologies; Integrate designed test sequences. Code instruments/UUT drivers. Develop features for test executive & productivity tool. Execute unit tests as part of module testing. |

| Job Requirements: |
Requirement: Completed 3rd year undergraduate engineering degree Software Engineering or similar Software development, C, C# or C++ (Must have) Software development NI TestStand (an asset) Software development LabWidows CVI (an asset) Test and measurement hardware ( ATE, PXI, LXI, GPIB ...) (an asset) Experience with version control using GIT (an asset) Knowledge of communication buses/protocols and test software (LabWindows/CVI) an asset. Experience with National Instruments and other test and measurement instruments an asset. Experience with user interface and GUI development an asset. Flexibility, excellent communication skills. Self-disciplined with a passion for thorough, complete work. Experience with National Instruments hardware (PXI, DAQ, RIO). Experience in designing GUI as well as the quality assurance process and unit testing. |
