Organization Profile Bayer Digital Diagnostics is the provider of the Radimetrics, an Enterprise-class medical software in the developing field of radiation dose tracking. Radimetrics integrates with hospital imaging databases in order to capture radiation information for analysis and reporting and is currently deployed at many hospitals throughout North America, Europe and Asia. We are at the forefront of medical imaging radiation dose research, collaborating with research institutes throughout North America. For more information on Radimetrics, visit www.radiologysolutions.bayer.com/dose-data Job Summary As a part of Bayer Digital Diagnostics, you will be an important member of the software test team. You will work with colleagues in the full software development life cycle, designing and executing test plans based on product requirements. You will gain an intimate understanding of the software and perform robust tests that will ensure the quality of our product, Radimetrics. Career Development And Training - You will be exposed to a commercial production environment, including ticket tracking, version control, design reviews and milestone deadlines. - You will gain familiarity with medical imaging concepts such as DICOM and HL7. - Exposure to common software technologies & medical imaging tools (Osirix, git/mercurial, SQL, HTML5, Web architecture) - Exposure to cloud architecture Responsibilities - Work with developers to verify new product features before they are released. - Develop test plan at design time to ensure that features are appropriately testable. - Document tests plans and deficiencies in tickets and formal test documents. - Communicate test progress, participating in development meetings. - Level of responsibility will be proportional to demonstrated skill and experience. |

- Excellent written and verbal communication, persistence, dedication to quality and attention to detail are necessary. - Object oriented programming - Coding proficiency in C# or Java, HTML5, XML will be an asset - Knowledge of software development cycles, software version control and testing methodology - Knowledge of Computer OS (Linux, Windows, Mac) is preferred |
