Job Description:	About the job At Red Hat interns are an integral part of the team. They don’t get relegated to busywork or unimportant tasks that no one else wants to do, but participate in the day-to-day work and are active contributors to their team.  We are currently looking for a Software Quality Engineer Intern to join us in Toronto, Canada.  As an intern, you will work closely with your mentor and gain experience on the technical side, and you will be interacting with a broader team both locally and globally.  What you will do - Conduct new feature research and design test cases - Execute manual and automated tests and deliver clear status in a timely manner. - Explore, identify, document new bugs and communicate the impact on customers to developers and support - Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, QE, Product Management, Documentation, and product build teams, as well as the open source community - Network with other talented interns in an inclusive and diverse workplace where you can be yourself and thrive
Job Requirements:	What you will bring - Working knowledge of written and spoken English  - Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work internally - Willingness to learn new things and proactively working as a part of a wider team - Knowledge of the UNIX or Linux operating system (any distribution)  - Basic knowledge of, passion and willingness to use Python, Golang or similar programming language - Familiarity with testing methodologies and techniques
